MTV lanceert MTV Unplugged at Home sessies met onder andere Yungblud, Alessia Cara en Ava Max

MTV Nederland biedt de komende weken speciale MTV Unplugged at Home edities aan met artiesten als Yungblud, Alessia Cara, Ava Max, CNCO en Bazzi. Fans kunnen zo genieten van een unieke front row experience van hun favoriete artiesten. Het internationale jongerenmerk wil hiermee laten zien hoe mensen verbonden kunnen blijven door de kracht van muziek en entertainment vanuit het comfort en de veilige omgeving van hun eigen huis.
 
MTV Unplugged at Home is onderdeel van #AloneTogether, een wereldwijde sociale en talentgestuurde campagne die de doelgroep wijst op het belang van social distancing en op deze manier eenheid stimuleert door middel van amusement.
 
MTV Nederland heeft een speciale selectie gemaakt van de MTV Unplugged at Home sessies. Deze zijn iedere zaterdag te zien via YouTube en Instagram. Vorige week ging reeds de sessie met JoJo live. De komende weken kan je nog genieten van Yungblud, Alessia Cara, Ava Max, CNCO en Bazzi. Daarnaast is een deel van de optredens de komende tijd te zien via de tv-zender.

New York, NY (April 3, 2020)—MTV today announced fans globally will have a front-row seat to performances by ShaggyAlessia CaraJewelMelissa EtheridgeMonsta XBazziCNCO and FINNEAS—while safely social distancing—during a special edition of its award-winning “MTV Unplugged” franchise, “MTV Unplugged at Home.” The global youth brand is bringing together fans and their favorite musicians throughout this unprecedented time to showcase how people can remain connected through the power of music and entertainment from the comfort of their homes. 
 
Beginning today with Alessia Cara at 12PM ET/9AM PT, and continuing regularly, performances will be available to stream on MTV YouTubeInstagram and Twitter, with additional artists to be announced at a later date. These acts follow Grammy® award-winner and platinum superstar Wyclef Jean, UK recording artist Yungblud, and multi-platinum pop/R&B recording artist JoJo
 
Reimagining the beloved music series as a multi-platform digital experience, the new mini-concert series will feature stripped-down, acoustic sets from artists performing their greatest hits, enabling music enthusiasts to find comfort in their new realities alongside fellow fans. In addition to the roster of global artists, MTV’s international channels will feature performances by local acts in their respective countries around the world.
 
The special-edition series coincides with MTV’s launch of #AloneTogether, a global talent and social media-driven campaign that educates young people on the importance of social distancing in order to flatten the curve of the coronavirus.
